Information on Memory Clinics is collected from publicly available sources and has not been verified nor are updates routinely provided by the sources. Go to "Clinics WA" Tab above for more information.

Please check with your family doctor and local health authorities to ensure the information is correct and accurate. Most Memory clinics will require a referral from a General Practitioner or a Nurse Practitioner.

A referral is also preferred for overseas visitors seeking advice.

Medicos from different stages in their careers, and medical schools around the Commonwealth have come together to collect data and useful information for public use. Like every successful project, we’ve had our bumps in the road. But we wouldn’t change a thing. Why? Because throughout our journey we are collecting data,  honing our skills and putting our services to the test in the real world, so the community can benefit from our learning and experience.

PROVIDING INFORMATION ON MEMORY CLINICS

Memory Clinics provide assessments and advise on diagnosis of memory impairment and related symptoms. These symptoms can be caused by a myriad of pathologies. Most common pathologies include Alzheimer's Disease, neurologically degenerative diseases, mental health problems, drugs and other physical or health related disorders.
Clients are often referred by hospitals and the community.
The clinics operate in a multi-disciplinary environment, often working alongside the aged care assessment team, allied health staff and clinical psychologists when required.
